PULLMAN CAR SPECIFICATIONS FOR "OO" GAUGE

 

Construction: All models are hand built using a high quality soldered brass construction. The bodies are removable by screws underneath to allow access to the interior if needed. All wheels are made in stainless steel to prevent corrosion.

External detail: Includes brass maker's plates, sprung buffers, water filler pipes and full underframe, roof and end detail etc. 1928 Cars have the fully riveted roof and "K" Type cars have the angled trussed underframe. The Devon Belle Observation Cars and some of the older "K" Type Cars have match-boarded and panelled sides.

Interior detail: Highly detailed interior includes tables and chairs using quality resin castings to reduce weight. Curtains and internal handrails are provided. Kitchen Cars have visible kitchen detail and Bar Cars have visible bar detail.

Extra features: Coaches have working table lamps and/or interior lighting using the electricity from the rails. Special brackets are fitted for changeable roof nameboards. A selection of nameboards from the famous trains are available as optional extras. Authentic buck-eye type couplings are fitted and alternatives are provided to allow locomotives and other types of couplings to join on.

Fully painted and finished: All coaches are supplied with a high quality paint finish in Pullman colours and are ready to run. They are professionally built and painted by some of the world's finest model makers in South Korea. Every coach is supplied in a high quality presentation box which is foam lined for protection.

Notes : 

  1. The famous trains above often included some of the 1928 Type Cars.

All coaches are hand built in brass with working lights, sprung axle boxes and hand painted to a superb standard with a quality presentation box

There are some variations in the specifications according to the Gauge. For details and photos please refer to the relevant Gauge pages for further details, the gallery page for photographs or our colour brochure.

Gauge "OO" prices are as follows:

1 coach £345 and 5 or more coaches £325 each.


Gauge "O" prices are as follows:

1 coach £675 and 5 or more coaches £645 each.


Gauge "1" prices are as follows:

1 coach £995 and 5 or more coaches £965 each.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5 %. Delivery is charged at cost if required. Supply is on a first come first served basis so it is advisable to check availability. Orders for coaches not presently in stock are welcome and a deposit of £100 per coach is required. Custom names can be available and may have an artwork cost.

All prices may be subject to exchange rate & tax variations and the prices, car names, numbers and specifications may be amended without notice. Payment facilities for debit and credit cards are available with an administration fee of 2% for credit cards only. Normal distance selling regulations apply and in these particular cases there is a seven working day refund period starting from the day of delivery with the condition that all goods and boxes must be returned undamaged at the buyer's expense.
